Description

The Kaffir Lime is a rare favorite of chefs throughout the world. The aromatic new tender leaves are used for flavoring in Oriental cuisine, especially Thai. The prized, rough skinned, acidic fruit may also be used in a variety of recipes. The fruit ripens June through September. This small growing tree is excellent for container growing. It prefers full sun, fertile, but well drained soil and moderate water.
